The trip in short
Twelve days on the country's driest coast. After two days at Rincón de la Vieja volcano you drive to Playa Tamarindo for your first surf lesson. Further south it gets quieter: yoga and waves at Nosara, the arribada at Ostional when the moon is right, and the calm bay of Sámara. A beach holiday in Guanacaste, all but sure to be dry from December to April.
