The trip in short
Not a mile twice: you land at Liberia and fly home from San José. First the mud pots of Rincón de la Vieja and the blue water of Río Celeste in Guanacaste and the north. Then past Arenal volcano and the cloud forest to the Pacific, with monkeys at Manuel Antonio and whales at Uvita. A trip full of volcanoes and nature, at its best in the dry season.
