An almost perfect cone of 1,670 metres above the rainforest and the lake. Until 2010 glowing lava rolled down its slopes; now you walk over the lava fields of 1968 and soak in the hot springs it warms in the evening.

Tip: The top is often in the clouds: look early in the morning, when it is clear most often.
