The trip in short
Costa Rica at its wildest. Over the Cerro de la Muerte to Los Quetzales, to look for the quetzal at sunrise. Then to the sea: the whales of Marino Ballena, and by boat down the Sierpe river to Drake Bay. From there you hike Corcovado with a guide and snorkel at Caño Island. The lodges are simple, the nature is not: a trip for wildlife and birds.
